
Professor Mohan Munasinghe

Professor Mohan Munasinghe is a Sri Lankan physicist, electrical engineer and development economist whose career bridges advanced technology and economic policy. He holds an engineering degree from Cambridge, a master’s in electrical engineering from MIT, a PhD in solid-state physics from McGill, and a master’s in development economics from Concordia. He served as Senior Advisor on Energy and Information Technology to the President of Sri Lanka, where he helped formulate the country’s national computer policy and founded its Computer and Information Technology Council. He also served as Governor of the Arthur C. Clarke Centre for Modern Technology, Sri Lanka’s national body for space, communication and information technology, and chaired the presidential commission that set national telecommunications policy. He later advised the World Bank and the United States President’s Council on Environmental Quality, applying the same rigorous, quantitative approach to climate and sustainable-development economics.

Rajadurai Thirumagan Sri
Singapore
Rajadurai Thirumagan Sri is a technology executive who has built and run large-scale IT platforms across Singapore, Malaysia and Sri Lanka. As Director of IT at Asia Carbon Holdings, he led development of ACX-Change, a carbon credit trading platform described as the world’s first Clean Development Mechanism-based emissions trading platform. He designed its spot and auction modules, led its security features and multi-country operations model, and built the related registry and carbon offset applications. He also project-managed a Tier-1 data centre in Singapore with an IT budget of about S$25 million. Earlier, he held consulting and regional project management roles in the Keppel Group. He holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems.

Dr. Luckmika Perera
Melbourne, Australia
Dr. Luckmika Perera is a strategy and finance leader based in Melbourne, with more than 20 years of experience helping organisations turn strategy, financial performance and operations into long-term value. A qualified accountant (FCPA, CA) and Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants, he began as a software engineer, then served as CFO and CTO, aligning financial strategy with operational systems and strengthening internal controls and data integrity. As Founder and CEO of Integrated Knowledge, he advises boards, governments and professional bodies on strategy, governance, sustainability and organisational transformation. At the University of Melbourne he designs executive reporting frameworks that combine data, narrative and analysis, and has published research on using business intelligence to support organisational sensemaking. He chairs the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee at Darts Australia and was inaugural Chair of the IIRC’s Academic Oversight Body for integrated reporting. He holds a PhD in Environmental Accounting.

Professor Praveen Abhayaratne

Professor Praveen Abhayaratne is a strategist who applies foresight and scenario-planning methods to policy and sustainability challenges. He designed foresight tools for developing political scenarios and has taught and designed online courses at undergraduate and graduate level for National American University since 2005. As Policy Advisor to the Governor of Sri Lanka’s Eastern Province, he led the design of bio-circular economy policy, and he has built sustainability frameworks for manufacturers. He served as Editor-in-Chief of the National Defense College Journal and has lectured on environmental security and climate change.

Prashani Illangasekera
Colombo, Sri Lanka
Prashani Illangasekera is an ESG and sustainability reporting specialist with over 15 years of multi-industry experience, and Co-Founder and Director, ESG at alchemX. As Head of ESG at Hayleys PLC, she led the Group-wide ESG roadmap across a highly diversified portfolio of businesses, turning priorities into targets, KPIs, policies and governance. She also led the Group’s implementation of SLFRS S1 and S2, building the reporting structures and the processes for monitoring climate-related risks and opportunities. Earlier she directed the boutique ESG consultancy SheConsults and planned and developed the Annual Integrated Report for Bank of Ceylon. She is an Approved ISSB Training Partner and sits on CA Sri Lanka’s Sustainability Disclosure Standards Committee. She holds an MSc in Finance and an MBA, and is an Associate Member of CIMA.

Assistant Professor Ranjiva Munasinghe
Colombo, Sri Lanka
Assistant Professor Ranjiva Munasinghe is a mathematician and data scientist who serves as CEO of MIND Analytics & Management. After a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Warwick and a Master of Advanced Study from Cambridge, he spent nearly eight years at Moody’s subsidiary Copal Amba, rising to Vice President of Quantitative Services, and earned the Certificate in Quantitative Finance with distinction. As an Assistant Professor at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, he is a co-investigator on Sinhala natural language processing research, including a best-paper-winning sentiment classification study, and has published on tail index estimation software in R and Indic language computing. He is a frequent speaker on AI, machine learning and big data, including at PyData Sri Lanka and a UN session in Colombo on data for the Sustainable Development Goals.
